Rules for entering the arena.

These Terms govern Debate-Abel accounts, statements, votes, challenges, live rooms, and other services. By creating an account or participating, you agree to them.

1. Who may participate

Anyone may browse public pages as a guest. During the public beta, you must be at least 18 years old, control a verified email address, and accept the current Terms, Privacy Policy, and Community Rules before you vote, post, challenge, or take a live speaking seat. Age is self-attested, not independently verified.

2. Your account

Provide accurate information, keep your password and recovery key secure, and use only accounts you control. Do not sell accounts, impersonate another person or organization, evade a suspension, automate registrations, or coordinate accounts to manipulate a result. A verified email confirms inbox control; it does not verify identity, expertise, or public-figure status.

3. Statements, debates, and votes

Statements and live arguments belong to their authors. Votes represent participating Debate-Abel accounts, not a scientific poll or a representative sample of the public. A verdict is not a finding of fact. Locked votes ordinarily cannot be changed. We may void, quarantine, label, or recalculate activity when we reasonably detect abuse, automation, or integrity problems.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of content you submit. You give Debate-Abel a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, format, moderate, and distribute that content as needed to operate, protect, and promote the service. This license ends when content is deleted from active systems, subject to backups, legal duties, and content already shared by others.

5. Community conduct

You must follow the Community Rules. Do not post threats, targeted harassment, private personal information, unlawful material, sexual exploitation, hateful abuse, spam, manipulated evidence, or content that infringes another person’s rights. Do not interfere with rooms, accounts, security controls, vote integrity, or the service itself.

6. Live voice and video

Get any consent required by law before recording another participant. Debate-Abel does not currently record or store room audio or video; the peer connection and short-lived signaling support the live call. Other participants may use external recording tools, so do not assume a live room is private.

7. Sources and third-party services

The source library links to or embeds material hosted by services such as YouTube and Rumble. Their terms and privacy practices apply to their services. Inclusion does not imply endorsement, affiliation, or ownership. Report inaccurate metadata or rights concerns through our contact and reporting tools.

8. “Resolve” is not a court

Debate-Abel is not a law firm, court, arbitration provider, mediator, or substitute for professional advice. A Debate-Abel vote or room does not create a legally binding judgment unless the parties separately enter a valid written agreement under applicable law. Seek a qualified professional for legal, financial, medical, or safety matters.

9. Moderation and enforcement

We may remove content, restrict reach, suspend participation, preserve evidence, or close accounts to enforce these Terms, protect people, comply with law, or preserve vote integrity. We may consider context and severity and are not required to host any particular content. Use the Contact page to request review of an enforcement decision.

10. Beta service and disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” Features may change, fail, or be withdrawn. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Debate-Abel disclaims implied warranties and is not responsible for user claims, third-party content, off-platform conduct, or indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits rights or liability that cannot legally be limited.

11. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be presented for renewed acceptance before participation. Questions, legal notices, and account requests may be sent through the Contact page.
